The Strange Powers of the Placebo Effect

I really believe in this concept. If you believe in the positive side of life and in good outcomes, I think you’ll be more likely to attain those outcomes, whether its in a relationship, or trying to get out of a fever, saying things like “oh its only a small headache itll go away soon” helps. Atleast for me.

Mmm, very interesting idea. Studied Placebos for a bit back when I took Statistics in high school. 

And thumbs up for an awesome Motion Graphics piece! Super stoked to start incorporating Motion Graphics stuff like this into my YouTube videos. :] 

This makes me wonder. What kind of reduction of symptoms are caused by out minds when we take an aspirin or morphine? could we force our mind to produce a placebo effect without a physical thing to focus that belief onto? Does placebo effect give clout to the theories of mind over matter? or does it prove that you need a physical object to focus on and that the mind can not overcome anything on its own?
